With the mounting cases of adverse reactions and health issues, the vaccine mandates are severely impacting the Virgin family.

On the 16th September 2021, Virgin Australia announced an ULTIMATUM

for all of its employees.

“Be Fully Vaccinated or Be Terminated”

 

The policy mandates every employee within the group to be fully vaccinated regardless of Role, Age, Health, or Religion.

 

It does not matter if:

  • A government mandate does not apply to you;

  • You live in another country;

  • You work from home;

  • You have a religious exemption;

  • You have a medical exemption;

  • You have already had COVID-19;

  • You have a Federal Government issued medical contraindication to COVID-19 vaccines;

  • You have been injured by a COVID-19 Vaccine;

  • Your General Practitioner (GP) advises you against getting vaccinated;

  • Your Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) warns you risk your Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate;

Many felt the consultation process was a one-way conversation.

Many felt their questions about the ongoing Health and Safety impacts were ignored.

 

This frustration led to the creation of an ever-growing group of employees of all vaccination statuses from all corners of the company sharing the same concerns.
